At Guanghua: Cui Zhongwei on AI’s present and next chapter
On 23 March 2026, Lingbang chairman Cui Zhongwei was invited to the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University. He spoke to the international class on where AI stands and where it is going. Students from many countries stayed with the session, asked questions, and the exchange closed as a clear look at how a Chinese AI company talks to the world.
Guanghua has long hosted conversations between academia and industry. The invitation reflected Lingbang’s work in AI and its international outlook. Facing a multicultural classroom, Cui skipped dry theory. He used industry news and company cases to map the AI stack today, then looked ahead at technical breaks and cross-border work—practical, not ornamental.
The talk was dense and paced. Students took notes throughout. In the open Q&A the room warmed up: hands went up on how AI lands in production, how industries differ across countries, and how science-and-technology cooperation crosses borders. Some questions pressed on the present; others pushed the future.
Cui answered each question in plain language, and shared how Lingbang works from China with a global layout. The tone was open, not didactic. Students said they left with a clearer picture of the AI industry—and of what a Chinese deep-tech firm actually looks like.
The Guanghua visit is one step in Lingbang’s industry–university work and its international plan. The company keeps R&D and an open stance in parallel, and looks for strong partners worldwide. Talking with students from many countries showed the energy in China’s AI industry, and fed the company a wider view for the next round of cooperation.
